Giving

We worship a God who lavishly gave and gives to us. Part of the joy of the Christian life is that we get to give. The Bible talks about a tithe, which literally means a tenth or 10%. Some of us start out giving less than a tenth and others give much more. The Bible tells us that ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Our giving is an act of worship and enables the Gospel to go forth and people to be loved. Everything we have belongs to God and when we give back a portion of what is already His it reminds us that He is in control and every good gift comes from our Heavenly Father. When you give to the ministry you are partnering with us to see men and women, boys and girls come to know Jesus and grow to love God and love people. We don’t prescribe how much to give, but if you’re part of the The Way Church we’d encourage you to come before God, ask how much he’d have you give and then step into joyful and cheerful giving.
