The existence of one God in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in:
The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments.
The deity and incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity.
The fallen, sinful and lost estate of all people.
The salvation of men and women from the penal consequences and power of sin through the perfect obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ,
His atoning death, His resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His unchanging priesthood
The immediate work of the Holy Spirit in the regeneration of men and women, in their sanctification, and in their preservation to the heavenly Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The necessity, in order to know salvation, of repentance towards God and of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of his kingdom. The resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment of all people by the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ordinances
The two ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ, namely Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which are of perpetual obligation:
Baptism being the immersion of believers upon the profession of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and a symbol of the fellowship of the regenerate in His death, burial and resurrection;
the Lord’s Supper being a memorial, until He comes, of the sacrifice of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Values
Truth
We are committed to the God’s Word being declared as reality through Bible teaching and preaching. We are unashamed of the truth of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. We seek to honestly communicate the truth in a transparent way, even when it hurts and appears to be to our detriment.
Leadership
We are humble, servant leaders who lead for the glory of God and the good of those we lead. As leaders and in those leaders we develop, we courageously seek to model and live out “He must increase, I must decrease.”
Excellence
We will pursue excellence in everything we do. As Daniel and his friends were 10x better (Dan 1:20), so will we seek to be.
Fun
We believe serving God on Mission for His Glory is a good time! We take God and his Word seriously, but not ourselves seriously. We believe that Jesus came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly. The church is an exuberant, joyful place (Acts 2:46-47) constantly celebrating Jesus and His victory. God’s people are the most hopeful, positive, fun-loving people on earth.
Risk
We are bold, go for broke risk takers. We serve a big God who wants us to walk by faith and not by sight. We are prepared to lead and take action, in the face of financial and physical risk to reach eternal souls for Christ. We enthusiastically grab at God-sized goals that in our own strength are impossible. We do this with an outsized confidence because all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus and he has promised he’s with us always, to the end of the age.
Expansion
We will crawl over broken glass to reach people who don’t know Christ. We will look to every way possible [creative and traditional, old and new] to share the good news of the Gospel. We believe Jesus when he says the fields are ready for harvest. The greatest thing on earth is seeing people come to know, love, and trust the name that is above every name. We are unapologetically seeking to see the expansion of God’s Kingdom and reach and disciple as many possible. People are more important than programs and people are more important than things. A human soul is the most valuable thing on earth, and we will do anything short of sin to reach and disciple as many people as possible before Jesus returns.
